“I just wanted to tell you what a profound impact your book had on me.  I experienced such heartfelt emotions as I read about all of the incredible things you have accomplished and the truly amazing goals your have set for yourself.  The manner in which you wrote made me feel like I was sitting across the table from you, listening, just listening.  I was truly inspired.  It is not difficult to understand why you have developed such close friendships with many of the people you described along the way.  Your generosity of soul and spirit has touched so many individuals through your journeys.”

Joanie, on Dave

“Harry Truman is credited with saying, “It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.”  Dave McGillivray should be credited for living it.  With a heart the size of Boston, I can’t think of anyone who does more things for more people, without  expecting anything in return, than Dave McGillivray. His work ethic, his energy, his athletic feats, and his generosity are legendary; and he’s earned my vote for the greatest organizational and management genius of our lifetime.”
